Exciting News for the Big Country!!

We have some very exciting news and evidence of how good God is here in the Big Country!

One of our staff members, Corbin Young, and his sweet wife, Kandace, had a beautiful and healthy boy!  

Name: Kensler Cy Young

Born: 12/13/12 at 8:13pm

Weight: 5lbs 2oz

Length: 18 1/4 inches

Place: Brownwood Regional Hospital, Brownwood, TX 

Here is a note from Corbin that expresses the goodness of our great God!

 His original due date was supposed to be Jan. 25th, but because Kandace had a severe case of preeclampsia suddenly occur at the end of our 33rd week of pregnancy, we had an emergency c-section delivery. But, praise God he is healthy and perfect. He's still currently in the hospital for monitoring due to being a premie, but is expected to be released this week. 

 We are so grateful for this early Christmas present, which only further reminds us of the ultimate gift of life through the birth of our King Jesus that we celebrate during this time of year!

Stephenville FCA

This is a quick snapshot of some of the happenings at Stephenville FCA! Keep up the awesome work Yellowjackets!

We had a meeting today during our flex period. We had over 100 kids there! We split into 10 groups and those groups are going to provide thanksgiving meals for 10 families!

Our next meeting, November 5th, we are going to have a weenie/marshmallow roast out in Heritage Hills.

Then our next meeting on November 19th we are meeting at the basketball game and will have a quick meeting during halftime.

The community is so pumped up about FCA. The community Thanksgiving meal is going to be on November 18^th this year at the Cowboy Church here in town, and they are going to give half of the offering to SHS FCA!!!! I am blown away!

A Glimpse of Fields of Faith

Wednesday, October 10th Big Country FCA hosted its 7th Annual Fields of Faith! We had fantastic student speakers who shared testimonies of our great great God. Pastor Chad Mitchell shared the Gospel. Worship was AWESOME and God moved!!
